PRP and PRF Treatments in Hammonton, NJ

PRP, or Platelet-Rich Plasma, and PRF, or Platelet-Rich Fibrin, are both created using your own blood. It’s drawn, processed, and then reintroduced into the skin in a concentrated form rich in platelets, growth factors, and the components your skin uses to repair and rebuild.

The difference between PRP and PRF comes down to how they’re processed and how they perform. PRP delivers a strong concentration of growth factors right away, while PRF is processed more gently and releases those same components more slowly over time. The result is a more gradual, sustained effect for many patients.

FAQs

Our Patients Have Questions About PRP Injection Therapy, Here’s the Answers

We’re Simply Awakening Your Skin’s Potential

PRP and PRF are highly effective for patients dealing with a wide range of concerns:

  • Fine lines, wrinkles, and overall skin texture
  • Scarring, both acne scarring and scarring from injury or procedures
  • Under-eye dark circles and hollowness
  • Hair thinning and hair loss

Patients also use these treatments to amplify and extend the results of other procedures, minimizing downtime and accelerating the healing process after more intensive services.

Good Things Take a Little Time; This is Worth Every Week of It

PRP and PRF are not instant-gratification treatments, and that’s actually part of what makes them so compelling. Because they work by activating your skin’s own regenerative processes rather than delivering an artificial result, the improvements unfold naturally over time.

Subtle changes may begin to appear within the first few weeks following treatment, with more significant results emerging around the three to four week mark as collagen production picks up momentum. That progress continues to build for four to six months after your treatment series. This means the best version of your results often shows up months after your last appointment, long after most other treatments would have already peaked and started fading.

The Patient Who’s Ready to Let Their Own Biology Do the Heavy Lifting

These treatments are genuinely well-suited for a wide range of patients, and part of what makes them so compelling is how naturally they fit into almost any treatment plan. You may be a good candidate if you are:

  • Dealing with under-eye concerns and want a filler-free solution
  • Experiencing gradual skin quality decline, loss of firmness, or textural changes
  • Looking to maximize and extend the results from other med spa treatments

The only real prerequisite for PRP and PRF is overall good health. Because these treatments work by concentrating the healing components in your own blood, the quality of that source material matters. During your consultation, we’ll ask about your health history, any medications you’re taking, and other factors that help us determine which treatment is the right fit and how to structure your series for the best possible outcome.

Before and after

What to Know Before You Come in and After You Leave

In the 24 to 48 hours before your appointment, avoid blood thinners like aspirin and ibuprofen and skip alcohol to reduce the chance of bruising. Come in well-hydrated and with clean, makeup-free skin. If you’re planning under-eye PRF, give yourself a few days before any big events, as some puffiness is normal.

After your appointment, keep things gentle for the first day or two. Avoid touching the area, intense workouts, heat, and direct sun exposure. Mild redness and swelling can happen and usually settle quickly. Results start to show in a few weeks and continue improving over time, with the best outcomes coming from a series of three or more treatments.
