The women we serve best are the ones who’ve spent two decades building something — a family, a career, a life they’re proud of — and have finally slowed down enough to catch themselves in the mirror, or in a photo, or on a Zoom call, and not recognize the face looking back. They are not trying to look 25. They are trying to look like themselves, refreshed. That’s the work we do.
The practice was founded by Ellen Lauletta, APN, DNP, CRNA. With 16 years of background in the medical field, the idea is simple: medical-grade skin care and treatments belong in a medical setting, delivered by medical providers, with the time it takes to do it correctly — not a 15-minute slot.
Our team is led by a medical director trained in aesthetics, and includes advanced aesthetic providers — RNs, NPs, and PAs — specializing in lasers, resurfacing machines, and injectables, alongside licensed estheticians specializing in pigment, acne, and anti-aging/laxity correction. We serve patients from all over New Jersey.
Every one of them works toward the same honest goal: keeping you, you™ — not changing who you are. We want to slow down the aging process and reverse some of the damage, giving you back what was always yours — not giving you something new you didn’t sign up for. Ellen Lauletta is a doctorate-level certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) and advanced practice nurse (APN) specializing in medical aesthetics. She has 10 years of experience treating populations ranging from neonates to geriatrics and end-of-life critical care. “I founded Awaken Aesthetics because I wanted to use my education and my degrees to build something big in the aesthetic industry that does not exist in this region. My goals were to educate the public and provide the highest levels of safety and up-to-date care in a field that frequently is forgotten as a practice of medicine.” Ellen has extensive didactic and clinical advanced training in aesthetic medicine and provides safe, evidence-based, high-quality results for her clients. Throughout her career, she has trained alongside some of the leading experts in this field and continues to routinely advance her knowledge through training and certifications focused on a patient-centered approach. Ellen also privately trains and provides shadowing opportunities for peers in this field. “I love spending quality time consulting with and educating my clients regarding the aging process. I believe this time spent is the backbone of a trusting and nurturing relationship in our practice.” She works with each patient individually to address his or her personal goals in the safest manner. “Our goal from the very beginning has always been keeping you, you.”
Dr. Dennis Reilly is a board-certified anesthesiologist offering over 15 years of experience in a wide array of clinical settings. As an anesthesiologist, he continues to serve the dual roles of providing direct care to patients in ambulatory care settings along with functioning in administrative and business capacities for several of these facilities.
Dr. Reilly’s interest in the field of alternative wellness and aesthetics grew from his years caring for both patients seeking surgical options for youthful rejuvenation or requiring surgery due to the natural aging process. This led him to train in the advanced techniques that offer nonsurgical options for patients desiring a more youthful appearance, including dermal aesthetics and platelet-rich plasma therapy. He began providing these services to clients in 2017, and continues to perform these procedures while also transitioning his roles to that of a management consultant and collaborative physician. These roles both require and provide Dr. Reilly with the knowledge of the most cutting-edge aesthetic techniques and products currently available in the marketplace.
Dr. Reilly graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001 and completed his residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He is a native Philadelphian who is proud to call Center City his home. When away from his medical practice, his time is occupied by his wife and trying to keep up with his two young children.
Aleshia is a Licensed Medical Aesthetician with over 12 years of experience in the beauty and skincare industry. Her journey began as a traveling wedding makeup artist, a role she dedicated herself to for a decade. This experience honed her skills and deepened her passion for helping others look and feel their best on one of the most important days of their lives.
Aleshia joined Awaken with a vision to build her clientele and assist in running the business. Her commitment and expertise were instrumental in the rapid growth of the business. As Awaken expanded, Aleshia took on the challenge of assembling a robust team of Medical Aestheticians, ensuring that the quality of care and service remained top-notch.
Her approach to skincare is grounded in realism and practicality. Aleshia is passionate about helping others achieve their skin goals through a holistic perspective, emphasizing that great skin is a reflection of one’s lifestyle. She believes that consistency in skincare routines, a balanced diet, and proper daily habits are key to slowing down the aging process and maintaining healthy skin.
Understanding the importance of simplicity, Aleshia brought a skincare brand on board that delivers outstanding results without overwhelming the average consumer. Her philosophy revolves around the idea that effective skincare should be accessible and easy to incorporate into daily life.
Aleshia places a high value on communication and education, believing these elements are essential in guiding patients toward the right skincare choices. As Awaken continued to evolve, her extensive management background became crucial. She seamlessly transitioned into the Practice Manager role, a position that allowed her to leverage her skills and experience to oversee the business’s operations effectively.
Despite the demands of management, Aleshia remains deeply involved in the patient journey. She has personally trained and developed a fantastic team of Medical Aestheticians, including Tiffany, Annica, and the other Alisha, who are now the “go-to Aestheticians” at Awaken. Aleshia’s dedication to her work and her team is evident in the high standards of care provided to every client.
For those scheduled for future consultations, you can still expect to meet Aleshia and benefit from her guidance. Her passion for skincare and commitment to her patients continues to drive her work, making her an invaluable asset to the Awaken team.
Karen has always loved the aesthetic industry, makeup, and fashion. She has spent many years in secretarial work and has even been a part of a large boutique launch with her daughter in previous years. She joined Awaken Aesthetics to continue to grow with a female-owned small business that is focused on helping people look and feel their best. Karen has been married to her husband for 41 years and is a mother to two beautiful girls, and Mimi to four perfect grandchildren. She loves to spend time with her family and enjoys music and long walks. Karen brings many years of experience in the customer care field and provides our patients with a top-notch experience from the moment they hear her voice on the phone to the moment they meet her in person and throughout their stay at Awaken Aesthetics.
Annica Meade is a Lead Licensed Medical Aesthetician who also earned her BA in Business Administration from Rutgers University in 2021. Annica’s hobbies include working out, walking her dog, and hanging out with loved ones! Annica worked in the fitness industry for five years, which she owes to her passion for helping others become the best version of themselves. Her mission is to merge her passions through teaching others how to manage their skin concerns with effective products and individualized treatments, while also targeting lifestyle factors. Annica believes in building long-lasting connections with her patients through education, dedication, and vulnerability. Annica’s favorite quote is “If you do not make time for your wellness, you will be forced to take time for your illness”, which she believes directly correlates to skin health. Annica has always been drawn to aesthetics, wellness, and most importantly results!
Ingrid Brown is a board-certified Physician Associate (PA-C) with over five years of clinical experience, specializing in dermatology and aesthetics. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science from Hofstra University, where she also excelled as a member of the NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer team. In 2019, she earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from James Madison University.
Ingrid began her career in emergency medicine and hospital care, spending two years gaining valuable comprehensive medical experience. Her passion for skin health and her meticulous attention to detail drew her to dermatology, where she has since accumulated over three years of specialized experience. She has successfully diagnosed and treated hundreds of skin cancers, as well as a wide range of acute and chronic dermatologic conditions, serving patients of all ages.
Driven by a desire to expand her expertise, Ingrid pursued advanced training in aesthetics to complement her medical practice. She is committed to helping patients look and feel their best by delivering safe, high-quality aesthetic treatments tailored to their individual needs. Ingrid finds great fulfillment in blending her medical knowledge with her artistic eye, offering a holistic approach to skin health and beauty.
Tiffany has been a professional makeup artist for eight years and has built a large clientele from the ground up on her own from a young age. She also pursued a career in aesthetics because she loves to “make people feel like themselves, yet really see themselves more beautifully. Seeing their reactions to our work never gets old.” Tiffany enjoys Disney World and dancing. Tiffany has brought a great attitude and lively personality to the patient concierge position and will continue to provide the best experience as our aesthetician.
